Feeding A Neighbour

Feeding a neighbour isn’t merely an act of charity—it’s an act of worship. In sharing food, we share the love of Christ, making the Gospel tangible to those around us. Scripture shows us that blessing others is a reflection of the generosity we have first received from God. When we feed the hungry, the lonely and those who have a good life, we are participating in Christ’s ministry, who fed multitudes and broke bread with sinners and saints alike.
Proverbs 22:9 says, “A generous person will be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor” (CSV). Every meal shared is an opportunity to sow hope, to build relationship, and to meet both physical and spiritual needs. We serve not for applause, but out of obedience and compassion.
Let our tables be open, our hearts generous, and our faith alive in action. Invite a neighbour for food today!
