Foundations

In a world of shifting values and moral uncertainty, we are often left asking: “What can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3 poses this very question: “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (NASB). The answer lies in the verses that follow: “The Lord is in His holy temple.” In times of instability, God remains immovable. Focus on that for yourself.

Foundations of faith are not laid in comfort, but in trust—through trials, truth, and perseverance. We are called not just to observe the ruins of society but to reinforce what God has established in our hearts. Christ is our cornerstone, and through Him we rebuild what others have forsaken.

Let us be those who repair the breaches, lay stones of hope, and set our lives on what is eternal. When storms come—and they will—our foundation will not crumble because it rests on Christ.

Quote

Storms test, but only faith stands.

Lord, strengthen the foundations of my faith today. Amen.
