When life leaves you frazzled—mentally drained, emotionally frayed, and spiritually weary—it’s a signal to pause and realign. Being a Christian doesn’t mean you won’t feel overwhelmed; it means you know where to turn when you do. God’s presence isn’t distant in your stress; He’s your refuge. In the noise, He invites you to rest in Him.
Matthew 11:28 says, “Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest’” (NLT). Jesus doesn’t offer a quick fix; He offers Himself. In His presence, your soul exhales, your mind quiets, and your strength is renewed.
When you’re frazzled, don’t push—draw near. Stop, breathe, and sit with the One who holds you together. It may be that you have have a serious look at what made you exhausted in the first place and address that moving forward.
