God Is Good All The Time

It is easy to say “God is good” when life feels sweet. But the power of that truth is proven when things are bitter. The goodness of God is not seasonal. His character is unchanging, and His heart towards us is always faithful. The Psalmist reminds us, “O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favoured by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him” (Psalm 34:8, AMP).

Tasting God’s goodness means choosing to trust Him, even when we do not understand. It means anchoring our hope in His Word and not in the moment. There is power in proclaiming His goodness even in hardship, because such declarations invite heaven into our situations.

So today, whisper it in joy, declare it in difficulty, sing it in silence: God is good all the time. And all the time, God is good.

Lord, help me trust in Your goodness in every season. Amen.
