Gone But Not Forgotten

We stand on the shoulders of those who’ve gone before us—friends, mentors, parents, and pastors whose lives were living sermons of faith. Their example, courage, prayers, and sacrifices shaped not only their generation but ours too. Their lives remind us that faith isn’t just taught, it’s caught—passed down through moments of perseverance, whispered prayers, and acts of quiet obedience. To honour them is not merely to remember, but to walk forward with the same steadfast spirit.
Hebrews 12:1 encourages us, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders... and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (NIV). Their race has ended—but ours continues. Their faith wasn’t in vain, and neither is ours.
Be inspired, don’t slow down, but run with purpose, so that you become an example to the next generation.
Quote

Prayer
