Growing In Patience

Patience is not something we stumble into by accident. It grows when we choose to slow our reactions and trust God with timing. Life has a way of pressing our buttons, yet patience teaches us to pause and breathe before responding. It reminds us that not everything needs fixing immediately.
Growing in patience is a prophetic journey. God often uses delay to deepen character and sharpen faith. When we wait well, we learn to listen more closely and speak more wisely. Patience stretches the soul, but it also strengthens it. In the waiting, God is quietly working where we cannot see.
Scripture encourages us, “Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times” (Romans 12:12 GNT). Patience keeps hope alive. As we practise it daily, peace grows, and trust takes root. God uses patient hearts to carry His presence into every situation.
