He Shall Supply Your Need

We often come to God with a list of wants, believing that our comfort defines His care. But Scripture teaches a more profound truth: “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19, ESV). Our heavenly Father does not spoil us with indulgence. He strengthens us through provision.

There is infinite wisdom in how God supplies. Sometimes, God only gives enough ‘manna’ for the day, not storehouses for the week. He meets our spiritual and emotional needs often before our material ones. When we walk closely with Him, we realise our greatest needs are peace, grace, and His abiding presence.

Let us focus on learning to trust in His idea of sufficiency. What we lack in our wants may be made up abundantly in His will. The Shepherd never forgets His sheep. Focus in on that thought today.
