Holidays

Holidays are more than a break from routine. When you step away from constant activity, you begin to notice God again in the simple things. Rest is not wasted time. It is part of how God restores the soul and renews perspective.

There is something deeply prophetic about choosing to rest well. It declares that your value is not measured by constant output. When you slow down, you create space for God to refresh your mind and realign your priorities. Often clarity comes not in striving but in stillness. Holidays can become sacred moments where God gently speaks and restores what has been stretched.

Scripture reminds us, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 AMP). Rest is a promise, not a luxury. When you receive it, you return stronger, clearer, and ready to walk forward with renewed faith.

Lord, teach me to rest in You and receive the renewal You offer. Amen.
