I Am Not Odd

As a Christian, Faith, integrity, and righteousness can seem strange to unbelievers in a world driven by self-interest and compromise. Yet, in truth, following Christ is not odd; it is the way life was always meant to be lived. The world has drifted from God’s design, but believers are called to reflect His original intention — to love, serve, forgive, and walk in truth.

Being different for the right reasons is a mark of divine calling, not of strangeness. Jesus Himself lived contrary to the culture of His time, showing mercy where others judged and truth where others stayed silent. To live for Him is to live authentically, honouring the One who gave life its meaning.

Scripture declares, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind” (Romans 12:2 ESV). A godly life is not odd; it is the truest expression of humanity.
