I Stand At The Door And Knock

There’s a profound intimacy in these words: “Look! I have been standing at the door, and I am constantly knocking. If anyone hears me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20, TLB). The promise of this verse reveals the gentle persistence of Christ—He doesn’t barge in, He knocks. The Creator of the universe patiently waits for our invitation to come in.
So often, our lives become crowded with noise, distraction, and an inability to trust God enough. Yet Jesus stands at the threshold of our hearts, offering peace, purpose, and restoration. He doesn’t demand entry—He desires relationship. Faith begins when we recognise the knock and respond.
Today, open the door afresh. Let Him dine with you in the quiet corners of your soul. There is no greater guest than the Saviour who brings wholeness.
Quote

Prayer
Lord, help me to always hear and respond to Your call. Amen.
Action Point
