Indifference In A Nice Way

Not every opinion, criticism, or expectation deserves space in your heart, yet always be gracious. Jesus Himself listened to many voices but was moved only by the will of His Heavenly Father. To live with godly indifference is not to be cold or proud, but to stay anchored in truth, unmoved by the noise of the world.
When we know who we are in Christ, we no longer need to defend or explain ourselves to everyone. The peace of God guards our hearts and helps us discern which words build and which words burden. Kindness allows us to listen, but wisdom teaches us to release what is not from Him.
The Bible says, “Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth” (Colossians 3:2 NASB). The more our minds are fixed on heaven, the less the world can disturb our peace.
