Investing In Prayer

Prayer is not a last resort, it is an investment. Every word spoken in faith is like sowing seed into the soil of heaven. Jesus often withdrew to pray, not because He lacked power, but because He knew the source of it. Luke 5:16 (NKJV) reminds us, “So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.” He prioritised time with the Father, showing us the pattern of spiritual investment.

We may not see instant results, but prayer never returns void. It shapes us, aligns our hearts, and invites heaven into earth’s matters. The effect of consistent prayer multiplies over time. Praying for loved ones, direction, healing or breakthrough stores up eternal dividends, and God responds in perfect time.

So let us not neglect prayer or treat it casually. The time you give to it is never wasted. It is your most powerful and fruitful investment in God’s Kingdom.
