Let There Be Light

At the very beginning of creation, God’s first command was “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3, NIV). These four words didn’t just illuminate the world—they symbolised the breaking of darkness, disorder, and void. Light represents clarity, hope, and eternal purpose. It is the first step towards transformation, both in creation and in our lives.
We all face seasons of darkness—confusion, fear, or grief. But God still speaks light into our chaos. The same voice that dispelled the depth of darkness will illuminate our next steps. The challenge is not whether light exists, but whether we allow it to overcome the darkness in our lives. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” When we invite Him in, shadows flee and hope awakens.
So today, pause and let the light of Christ shine afresh in you. His light is not harsh—it heals, guides, and never fails.
Quote
Darkness is never stronger than light. Light exposes darkness for what it is.
Prayer
Lord, shine Your light into every hidden part of my life. Amen.
Action Point
Speak life and light into someone’s darkness today.
