Nicene Creed

The Nicene Creed is one of the oldest statements of Christian belief. It was written to express what Christians believe about the Trinity. When believers recite it, they are not just repeating mere words. The creed reminds us that our faith is not new or uncertain, but rooted in truth that has stood the test of time.

There is something deeply prophetic about declaring what we believe. When we speak truth out loud, it strengthens our hearts and aligns our minds with God’s truth. The Creed helps us remember that our faith is centred on Christ, His life, His death, and His resurrection. It anchors us when opinions and ideas constantly change around us.

Scripture reminds us, “Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 1:13 NKJV). Sound doctrine protects and strengthens faith.
