Patience

We all want growth to be quick and change to be obvious, yet sometimes God works slowly and lovingly in our fragile, human hearts. When others frustrate us, patience asks us to pause and remember how gently God has often treated us. It reminds us that everyone is carrying something unseen.

There is prophetic power in patient love. When we choose patience, we create space for the Spirit to work beyond our control. Patience listens longer, speaks softer, and waits for grace to do what pressure never can. It calls out God’s timing rather than demanding immediate results. Often, the miracle is not changed behaviour but a softened relationship.

Scripture says, “Love is very patient and kind” (1 Corinthians 13:4 TLB). Patience is not weakness; it is strength under God’s direction. When we walk patiently with others, we reflect the steady, faithful heart of Christ to a watching world.

Quote

Patience makes room for God to work.

Prayer

Lord, teach me to be patient with people as You have been patient with me. Amen.

Action Point

Choose patience today in one situation where you would normally rush or react.
