Pointless

Life presents an almost infinite number of distractions that can consume our attention. Wealth, recognition, and temporary pleasures often promise satisfaction but leave the soul empty. As Christians, we are called to lift our eyes above what is fleeting and fix them on what is eternal. To focus on what is pointless is to miss the beauty of God’s higher calling.
Jesus reminded His followers that treasures on earth decay and fade, but treasures in heaven endure. When we give ourselves to pursuits that honour Christ, our lives gain lasting significance. Love, service, prayer, and faith are never wasted; they are investments that carry eternal reward.
The Bible teaches, “Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth” (Colossians 3:2 NASB). This is the pathway of wisdom. To live with heaven in view is to live with clarity, joy, and purpose.
Quote
Earthly pursuits fade, eternal treasures remain.
Prayer
Lord, help me to focus on what matters most in Your kingdom. Amen.
Action Point
Identify one distraction today and replace it with an eternal pursuit.
