Practising His Presence

To practise the presence of God is to live with the knowledge that He is near. It is not reserved for moments of worship alone but woven into the rhythm of everyday life. Whether in stillness or activity, we can train our hearts to recognise that God is with us. His presence brings peace to the anxious, strength to the weary, and joy to the soul.
When we acknowledge His presence, we become more sensitive to His voice. Ordinary moments are transformed into sacred encounters when we invite Him into them. Practising His presence is not about striving but about resting, learning to breathe in His grace and walk in quiet confidence that He never leaves us.
Scripture reminds us, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you” (James 4:8 ESV). When we live in awareness of His presence, life itself becomes an act of worship.
