Prisoner Of Your Past

Your past may have shaped you, but it does not define you. Mistakes, regrets, and painful seasons are part of your journey—but they are not the end of your story. In Christ, you are not a prisoner of who you were. You are a child of God, redeemed, restored, and released into a new future. The past was a lesson, not a life sentence.
2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (NIV). God's grace gives you a fresh start. He sees not your failure, but your future. You can step forward in hope because His mercy is new every morning.
Life has a way of knocking you down and imprisoning hope in your mind. Let go of the weight of yesterday. Walk freely today into all that God has for you.
Quote
Your past is a chapter, not your conclusion.
Prayer
Lord, thank You that I am not bound by my past but set free by Your grace. Amen.
Action Point
Write down one lesson from your past and thank God for the growth it brought.
