Push Away Negativity

Negativity creeps in silently. It can fill a room, a mind or a heart without invitation. Before we know it, our outlook dims, our words carry weight not of glory but of gloom. Yet Scripture speaks life. Philippians 4:8 (NIV) tells us, “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
The more we allow these truths to shape our thoughts, the more the negative is evicted. Light and darkness cannot dwell together. When we fill our inner world with what is of God, there is no room left for despair or bitterness. It is not about pretending life is perfect, but about choosing what dominates our spirit.
Decide to push out what does not belong. Choose words that bless, thoughts that build and a heart that reflects heaven’s joy.

Lord, replace my negative thoughts with your perfect peace. Amen.
