We think we know the Gospels. We have heard the parables, the miracles, the familiar phrases. Yet when you slow down and read them afresh, something shifts. Jesus begins to feel close again, not distant or historical, but present and personal. His words cut through routine and awaken wonder.
There is prophetic renewal in returning to the stories of Christ. When you read with fresh eyes, you notice His compassion, His courage, and His authority in new ways. The Gospels are not simply accounts of what happened. They are invitations into relationship. Each page asks you not just to understand Jesus, but to follow Him more deeply.
Scripture reminds us, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory” (John 1:14 CSB). The glory of Christ is not abstract. It is revealed in action, in mercy, in truth. Reading afresh keeps your faith alive and responsive.
