Resisting Apathy

Apathy whispers that prayer can wait and compassion is optional. God did not breathe life into us for half-hearted living but for burning love. Courage then returns, and faith begins to move again within us.
Resisting apathy is a choice. It means choosing tenderness over indifference and obedience over comfort. Stirring the heart requires action. We pray when we feel dry, serve when we feel tired, and listen when distraction calls loudly. The fire of God responds to willing movement. Faith awakens communities and restores joy where boredom once ruled.
Scripture urges us, “Stay alert. Watch out for your great enemy” (1 Peter 5:8 MSG). Alert faith resists drift and chooses engagement. Today, God invites you to wake fully, love deeply, and live in the present. A stirred heart becomes a doorway for renewal. His Spirit energises obedience and replaces apathy with holy urgency and compassion for Christ's glory.
