Scamming

Scams have become increasingly subtle and sophisticated. From phishing emails to phone fraud and online manipulation, deceit has found clever ways to reach us. While technology evolves, the heart of the problem remains ancient: dishonesty. Proverbs warns us that “nothing God does is twisted or crooked. It’s all straight as an arrow” (Proverbs 8:8, MSG). We are called to live by that same standard.

Jesus taught us to walk in truth, integrity and love. The temptation to deceive or take shortcuts may present itself in small ways, but the cost to our character is never small. Conversely, those who choose honesty are often protected from harm, not just practically but spiritually. Righteous living guards the soul.

In a world full of scams and schemes, let your life be a testimony of sincerity. Do not be naive, but do not be cynical either. Be wise, and remain anchored in truth.

Quote

Honesty may not make you rich, but it makes you whole.

Prayer

Lord, help me to walk in truth no matter the cost. Amen.

Action Point

Pause today and assess where integrity needs to be restored.
