Shenanigans

Faith doesn’t mean we walk through life without joy or laughter. In fact, a heart that trusts God is free to smile—even in hard times. Shenanigans, moments of light-hearted fun, remind us that life isn’t always serious. Jesus Himself delighted in children, told vivid stories, and walked among people with kindness and warmth. Joy is part of the Christian walk!
Proverbs 17:22 says, “A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones” (NKJV). A cheerful spirit not only lifts us but also encourages those around us. Laughter can be holy when it’s rooted in love and shared in grace.
We shouldn’t take ourselves so seriously that we forget that God Himself created laughter and humour in our lives. Let’s not lose sight of the beauty of humour. It softens the edges of life and invites others into the joy we have in Christ.
