01426 - Spend Time With Jesus

Spending time with Jesus is not about fitting Him into life. It is about giving Him your attention, your presence. In a world that constantly pulls you in many directions, choosing to be still with Him becomes a sacred act. It is in these moments that your soul begins to settle, and your perspective begins to shift.

There is something special about sitting with Jesus without hurry. You are not striving to achieve something. You are simply being with Him. In that place, your heart is shaped, your burdens become lighter, and your spirit is renewed. Time with Him is never wasted. It becomes the source from which everything else flows.

Scripture reminds us, “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 NASB). His invitation is personal and constant. When you respond, you find rest that reaches deeper than circumstance.

Lord, draw me closer and teach me to value time spent with You. Amen.
