Step Out Of The Boat

There comes a moment in every journey of faith when staying where you are feels safer than stepping out of the boat. Jesus often calls us beyond comfort. Faith begins to grow when you are willing to trust His voice more than your surroundings.

There is something profoundly prophetic about stepping out. It is not about reckless action but responsive obedience. When Peter stepped onto the water, it was not because the sea had calmed. It was because Jesus had spoken. Faith is always anchored in His word. When you move at His invitation, you step into a place where dependence on Him becomes real and personal.

Scripture reminds us, “Jumping out of the boat, Peter walked on the water to Jesus” (Matthew 14:29 MSG). That moment was not about perfection. It was about trust. When you step out, you discover that Jesus meets you beyond what feels safe.
