Tending To The Land

From the beginning, God entrusted us with the care of His creation. We should steward the earth. Just as a farmer tends the soil with diligence, we are called to cultivate the land with wisdom, ensuring it flourishes for the generations to come. Recognising that all creation ultimately belongs to the Lord.
To be spiritual custodians of the land is to see fields, rivers, and forests as testimonies of God’s handiwork. When we care for creation, we reflect His character as Creator and Sustainer. Neglect leads to decay, but careful stewardship brings forth life, fruitfulness, and blessing. Our daily choices reveal whether we honour this divine trust.
The Word declares, “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it” (Genesis 2:15 AMP). Our calling remains the same: to tend, to protect, and to bless the land around us.
