The Fear Of Risk

Fear will whisper that it is safer to stay where you are than to take a risk. Yet there is a truth that keeps us on track: if you do not try, you will never know. Faith is rarely discovered in comfort. It is revealed when you are willing to try.

There is something deeply prophetic about choosing to take a step when certainty is not guaranteed. God does not call us to reckless action but to trusting obedience. When you step forward, even with trembling, you create space for God to meet you in new ways. Growth begins where hesitation ends.

Scripture reminds us, “For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline” (2 Timothy 1:7 NASB). Fear does not define your path. Faith does. When you act with trust, you begin to see what God can do through you.

Lord, give me courage to step beyond fear and trust where You are leading. Amen.
