The One Ledded Seagull

On the ground, a one-legged seagull looks awkward, seemingly limited. Yet when it takes to the sky, it soars as beautifully and freely as any other bird. What appears to be a disadvantage on the surface becomes irrelevant in flight. So it is with us. Life may have left you with scars, burdens, or limitations. But in Christ, your spirit is not grounded by these things—you were made to soar.
Paul reminds us, “My grace is enough for you. When you are weak, my power is made perfect in you.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 NCV). What looks like weakness in the world becomes the place where God’s strength is most visible. Just as the seagull is unhindered in the sky, so are you in the Spirit.
Don’t define yourself by the limp—look to the flight, it’s when you soar in God, you rise above any limitation you have.
Quote
Those who limp still walk—and those who soar, live free.
Prayer
Father, lift my spirit above every earthly limitation. Amen.
Action Point
Let today’s challenge remind you that you can still fly.
