The Power Of Words

Words can build or break, uplift or undermine, heal or hurt. Scripture reminds us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Proverbs 18:21, KJV). What we say not only affects others, but it also shapes the spiritual climate around us. Each word carries a seed. What are we sowing?
Jesus spoke life, truth and hope, even in the face of adversity. His example calls us to steward our speech with grace and purpose. Whether in conversation, prayer or social media, our words should echo heaven's intent and not earth’s frustration. A kind word can disarm anger, and a word fitly spoken can open doors no hand could.
Let us weigh our words as though Christ Himself were listening because He is. Speak as a vessel of hope. There is power in your voice; use it well.
