The Prayer Radar

God has given each of us a kind of spiritual radar. Sometimes, a name will come to mind, or a face will flash before us, or a situation will weigh heavily upon our spirit. These moments are not random; they are the prompting of the Holy Spirit who intercedes through us. To ignore such a nudge is to miss a divine opportunity to stand in the gap for someone in need.
Prayer radar requires both sensitivity and obedience. The urgency we sense may indicate that the person is going through a trial or facing an unseen danger. In that moment, we can lift them before the throne of grace, and where possible, we should reach out with words of encouragement or practical support.
Scripture declares, “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17 NKJV). This is not endless repetition but a readiness to respond whenever God signals our hearts to pray.
Quote
Prayer radar is a view of what God sees from Heaven.
Prayer
Lord, make me sensitive to every prompting of Your Spirit in prayer. Amen.
Action Point
Act immediately the next time God lays someone on your heart.
