The Restless Soul

A restless soul is one that longs for peace but can often search for it in the wrong place. Many strive for fulfilment through achievement, wealth, or recognition, yet true rest is not found in activity but in surrender. Restlessness often signals a deeper need — a longing for the presence of God. Only when the soul returns to its Creator does it find stillness and purpose.
God invites the restless to come and rest in Him. His peace is not temporary but eternal, quieting the mind and healing the heart. When we yield our striving and allow His Spirit to lead, the restlessness fades, replaced by a calm assurance that we are exactly where we belong.
The Bible declares, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 NIV). The restless soul finds peace only in the arms of Christ.
