The Seeds You Plant

Robert Louis Stevenson once wrote, “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” Every word we speak, every action we take, and every attitude we show is a seed planted in the soil of life. In time, what we sow will grow, and the harvest will reveal the heart that planted it.

God calls us to plant seeds of kindness, faith, and righteousness. When we invest in goodness, the fruit will be blessing, peace, and joy. But when we sow bitterness or selfishness, the harvest reflects that too. Each day offers us a choice: to plant what builds or what destroys. Wise planting always begins with God’s Word.

The Bible declares, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap” (Galatians 6:7 NKJV). The future belongs to the seeds we plant today.

Quote

Every seed sown in faith shapes tomorrow’s harvest.

Prayer

Lord, help me to plant seeds today that will honour You and bless others. Amen.

Action Point

Be intentional today in sowing one seed of kindness or encouragement.
