This Land

God cares about the soil beneath our feet. He calls His people to pray for their home nation, not with despair, but with faith. When we lift our land before God, we invite His healing, His justice, and His peace to flow where brokenness has spread. Prayer is not powerless. It tills the ground of the impossible and prepares it for hope.
To pray for the land is to believe that God can revive what looks dry and restore what seems lost. We can speak blessings over our streets, schools, farms, and cities. Prayer has authority. Even when we cannot change everything with our hands, we can influence everything through heaven. God moves when His people pray with persistence and love.
Scripture declares, “Make your petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers” (Philippians 4:6 MSG). When we pray for the land, worry becomes worship and fear becomes faith.
