Working Backwards From Your Goal

Wise planning begins with the end in mind. Our ultimate goal is to glorify God and finish the race with joy. When we picture the life we want to present before the Lord, we can work backwards, allowing His wisdom to guide every step. This is not human calculation alone; it is the surrender of our plans to the One who sees the whole journey.

God invites us to seek His counsel in every decision. Prayer, Scripture, and the prompting of the Holy Spirit provide the insight we need to set priorities and avoid distractions. When we plan with eternity in view, our daily actions gain purpose and our efforts bear lasting fruit.

Scripture declares, “The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps” (Proverbs 16:9 NASB). True success is found when our goals are shaped by His wisdom and every step follows His leading.
