The Burning Bush

The burning bush proves that God meets us where we are. Moses was going about his day when heaven interrupted his routine. The bush burned without being consumed, showing that God’s presence doesn’t destroy what He calls. Sometimes we rush past holy moments because they do not look dramatic enough. Yet God is already speaking, waiting for us to turn aside and pay attention.
There is a prophetic lesson here about holy ground. When God speaks, posture matters. Moses was told to pause, to remove his sandals, and to recognise that God was near. Encounter requires reverence. When we slow down and listen, God reveals the purpose, direction, and courage we did not know we carried.
Scripture records, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground” (Exodus 3:5 NKJV). God still calls from burning bushes today.
Quote

Prayer

Action Point
Pause today and ask God where He is already speaking to you.
