When Was Your Last Tantrum ?

Updated: Jan 31

When a young child of two or three doesn’t get their own way, their temper often results in a tantrum. That relatively impulse description for behaviour getting out of hand. Colossians 4:5-6 says ‘…Let you conversation be full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone’. (NIV)

Life gives us every opportunity to act badly or well, most of the time it’s down to our choice. There may be days where circumstance or frustration drives our behaviour, you may be reckless in conversation, shout, and scream, even though your partner might have had nothing to do with what you experienced.

To keep your tantrum from making a debut that day, find a way of offsetting your frustration, prayer, exercise, discussing how you feel with a friend before you lose it with a loved one. Life is too short to tantrum your way through it.

Quote

Life is too short to tantrum your way through it.

Prayer

Lord if I am prone to losing my cool or to tantrum, help me Lord give that anger over to you, in Jesus name, Amen.

Action Point Always make sure to speak or write an apology if you have lost it, it builds back relationship and respect.
