01618 - Fear Not
Fear can speak, but it never deserves the final word. God repeatedly tells His people not to fear because His presence is greater than whatever stands before them. Fear looks at possibilities and imagines disaster. Faith looks towards God and remembers His character, promises, power, and unfailing presence.
When God says fear not, He is not pretending danger does not exist. He is revealing that danger does not rule. Israel faced armies, David faced giants, disciples faced storms, yet God's presence changed everything. Courage is not the absence of trembling. It is choosing obedience while trusting that God remains completely sovereign.
Isaiah 41:10 (ESV) says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.” Hear those words personally today. Whatever uncertainty stands before you, God is already there. Refuse to let fear write tomorrow's story. Walk forward boldly, knowing His presence surrounds you.
